The ellipsoidal wound of the V2A round tube [42.8 mm] is filled with root maple veneer. The lighting up of the strong grain suggests a blaze and creates the illusion of radiant heat coming from the light. In addition to the more atmospheric glow on the vertical, a spotlight in the lower tube opening ensures a determined cone of light over the dining or work area.
